This is why I shouldn’t draw after watching the latest episode of Gundam 00. Warning: spoilers and a very silly sketch lie below the cut.
It was actually a little tricky to find a way of fitting Ribbons’ hair to the very round shape of a Haro. It was far too much fun to draw, though.
Today’s episode was a good one – some long-awaited developments, and a few surprises as well.
I was glad to see some Nena vs Louise action, even if it was a little short. I always thought Nena was pretty fun, but she didn’t really do much this season, and when the fight started, I was actually somehow looking forward to seeing her get killed. It’s not that I dislike her at all, but there was something satisfying about it. I fear for what is going to come of Louise now, though. Her mental state has gone from bad to worse as this season has progressed. I didn’t like her much in the first season, but she’s really grown on me since the start of S2. Clearly I have a weakness for mentally unstable characters, since Alle became a lot less interesting to me after Halle all but disappeared.
It seems like Revive will be the next Innovator for the chop, now that he’s got a little bit of a grudge against Setsuna. I will be sad to see him go, but he hasn’t had a great deal of character development. I hope he doesn’t get finished off too quickly. Hopefully Hilling will last a while longer – she’s too cute to die yet. I’m hoping Regene survives as well – he’s getting more and more interesting with each episode.
Sparkly Naked Time with Setsuna and Graham was far too amusing, and ridiculously fanservice-y. I’m hoping for a proper fight scene between them at some point, since this episode’s one got rather interrupted with all the Louise and Nena business going on at the same time. Graham’s suit looks pretty awesome, and he hasn’t been in enough battles yet. I’ve really come to like his character more and more as this season has progressed, and so hopefully he’ll survive.
