I’d been wanting to pick up the limited Haruhi-chan manga for a while, but I missed the preorders for it and didn’t want to pay the extortionate eBay prices for it, so I waited until I got to Japan and then grabbed it from the Amazon JP Marketplace. I must admit that like (I imagine) most people I bought this for the figure, not the regular or bonus manga also included in the set. I’m weak to Nendoroids, and Yuki’s rabbit headphones are just too cute so I really wanted to get hold of her.
I was feeling really quite ill today when I got back from my lectures, and I still am, but I did have a nice surprise waiting for me just inside the door: my Nendoroid Petit of Haruhi in a concert outfit. I got her off eBay (a topic I’ll come back to in a minute) so she was a little expensive, but it was a better option than buying a whole box of them in hope of getting the one figure from the set that I really wanted.

Lots of interesting figures surfaced at WonHobby 9 and the few days before it – there’s only one I’m absolutely getting, but several I’d like to have depending on how much money I have.
